Joining the practice

New patients welcome!

Our list is open and we are more than happy to accept any new patients who move into our existing practice area as above. To register with us, please check the details and ID requirements on our new patient registration page. We look forward to providing health care for you and your family.

Under the Patient Choice Scheme, also known as the Out of Area Registration Scheme, we confirm that we do not accept any patients for registration if residing outside our practice area as defined above. Patients in this situation are advised to register with a local GP surgery.

Leaving the practice area

For the purposes of the government's Choice of GP practice agenda, we confirm that Ivy Grove Surgery does not have an Outer Boundary area within which we would be willing to retain on our list any patients who move from our existing practice area.

Therefore, patients will be requested to register with other local doctors should they move outside the existing practice area. This is necessary to enable us to concentrate our time and resources on providing a quality service for patients who live within our practice area.
